WSC49 - Beate Sketch Challenge

I know I should be gardening... but I wanted to use my new little hedgehog - so just a quickie card.

The stamp is by Penny Black, it's called "In a Nutshell". I colored it with alcohol markers (Tria/Copics), but I think I like my Hedgehogs colored with Prismacolor crayons better. Will try another time....

This card is for Beate's Sketch Challenge, WSC49.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

Recipe:

Papers: Basic Grey Two Scoops; CS Bazzill
Accessories: Brads: Making Memories, ribbon: unknown; markers: Tria/Copics;
Tools: Nestabilities, standard and scallop circles

Thanks for looking.

Swaps for Gina K Designs

Last month I did 2 cards for swaps on the Gina K. Designs Form on Splitcoast Stampers (for a new release party). I received lots of beautiful cards. These are the cards that I made:

I had already shown and described this card earlier on my blog here.

Another Mothers' Day card and CPS#63 challenge

I needed to do a Mothers' day card for my friend Josée - I owed it to her from our last SU Club meeting swap.  I also wanted to do something for the CPS63 (Card positioning system), so I combined both ...

So here is the sketch from CPS63:

and here is my card:

From the sketch and the exemples, I presumed that the card was a tri-fold, at least that is what I did.

So here is my card opened:

The cards are a little washed out I don't know why - I took the photos in the bright daylight....

The image is SU Bloomin Beautiful.  It was colored with Prismacolor crayons and Fragonard (Gamsol).  The shapes (circles) were cut with Nestabilities, so was the square and the oval for the greeting.  The paper is SU Certainly Celery Designer Paper.  The CS is SU Almost Amethyst.  The greeting is a stamp from Bonnidee (local stamp store), the brad is Making Memories.  The greeting was stamped with SU Blue Bayou Classic ink.  The stiching is done with a SU marker.

The card was scored with my Scor-Pal of course.

The ribbons are SU Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue.  The slot for the ribbons was pierced with a SU ribbon slot punch.

Mothers' Day Card

I made a Mothers' Day Card for my MIL.

I used the very nice Stampin Up set Bloomin Beautiful (used the single flower this time).
I colored with Prismacolor and Fragonard (Gamsol in Canada).
I used the new Basic Grey paper I just bought (that was tough - usually I look at it for weeks before I use my new paper....).  This is from the Cupcake serie.

The pink ribbon is from my stash (unknown source).
The cardstock I used is SU Certainly Celery.  The oval shape and scallop were cut with Nestabilities and place on a piece of Basic Grey Two Scoops Pink paper (6 x 6 pad)
The greeting is stamped with SU Blue Bayou Classic Ink on Pink BG Two Scoop again. The stamp is an old one from PSX.
The brads are Making Memories Pebble brads (Flowers lemonade).

The card is 5 x 7".

Thanks for looking!
