This is a monochromatic card and I used the retired Warm Wasabi ink, Cardstock and ribbon. I just added a bit of Stickles on the butterflies and flower image. All the stamps are from the same SU set and I'm so bad at remembering names....

Hero Arts Weekly Challenge - Shapes
A card for the shape challenge on the Hero Arts Blog (click on the blinkie on the right column to visit the blog).
I'm not sure if it shows or not, but this is a "straw hat" with a little wreath of flowers.... The flowers were stamped in shadow ink and colored with Copics. Then they were glued with pop dots around the crown of the hat. The yellow bow is SU ribbon. (The hat is about 5" diameter). Also, I embossed the front of the card with SU/Sizzix dots embossing plate.

Happy Easter
A quick share. A Whipper Snapper image I had fun coloring with my Copics.
(Click on image to view bigger)
The front is cut about 1 inch narrower than the bottom panel, to see the pretty paper on the inside edge.
The front edge of the card is cut with a new EK Success border punch that I bought at Michaels. It cuts so well, it feels strong and has no problem punching through cardstock. I would definetly recommend those!
Here is the inside view:
Recipe:
Stamp: Whipper Snapper
CS: DCWV and for card base: Gina K white 120 lb CS
PP: Making Memories Chloe's Closet
Inks and markers: Ranger India Ink; Copic Markers and Atayou Spica Markers on flowers
Buttons: Yellow: Dollorama, Green (speckled gold) Autumn Leaves
Sewing machine: Janome Mini; Thread: Coats
Tools: EK Success Diamond Border; Nestabilities classic rectangles and scallop rectangles.

My Stampin'Up Club Project for February
My Club Ladies are so good that each month, it's a challenge for me to find projects that they will find interesting. Don't get me wrong, nobody has ever complained, but I know they're good, so I don't want to bore them!
I first saw this Origami box on Sharon Harnist's blog. She found it on Splitcoast stampers. That's where I found the template for making the box. We're so lucky to have places like this for inspiration and more importantly patterns and instructions.
So here is my project. It was a 2 in 1. First we made the box, then we made cards to go in the box.
This is the box:
(Click on picture to view bigger)
If you click on the above photo to view bigger, you will see the embossing on the white "Top Note Die cut". I used the brand new embossing texture plate exclusive to Stampin'Up. It is very beautiful. And there are 6 exclusive plates in the kit. Later on, I tried something I read on someone's blog (Stamping is my business I think). I sprayed the CS with alcohol before embossing. It makes the embossing a lot more crisp. I'll do it next time (except that the spray bottle I put the alcohol in has a little crack on the seam of the plastic bottle and I lost all my alcohol... bummer). The box itself is made of one 12X12 sheet of patterned paper. You can find the template for folding here (at the bottom of the message). Then the frame of the box is made by covering 2 pieces of chipboards with patterned papers. You can see the instructions on Splitcoast in the same message on Splitcoast as above.
I decorated the 2 Top Notes dies (the white one was trimmed on the dotted line) with the new SU (Sizzix) Embosslits "Sweet stems" and of course I had to use pearls and bling (all Hero Arts).
