It has been a while since I've done a card for the Card Positioning System challenge. This week (CPS #116) is being sponsored by Bella Stamps. I should really have used a Bella Stamp, but I just finished coloring this Whipper Snapper Designs image, and it's pretty cute, so I though I'd use it. Besides, there is a Bella Challenge due for tomorrow, and I just received my new Bella Stamps, so I'll try to do a Bella card for tomorrow.
You can find the CPS challenge here.
This is the sketch:
This is my card - note that I have reversed the sketch sideways:

The image is Sofia by Whipper Snapper Designs, coloured with Copics and shaded with Prismacolor crayons. I have raised it with foam dots (SU dimentionals).

Recipe:
Cardstock: Stampin'Up Chocolate Chip
Patterned Papers: Basic Grey new little 6 x 6 pad
Stamp: Penny Black for image and Stampin'up for greeting
Little red gel hearts (falling from the tree): Cloud 9 Designs
Inks and markers: Black ink is Brilliance Graphite Black, pink ink (around edges and for greeting) is Paper Trey new Palette Passion Pink. I also used Spica Atayou glitter pen in red to go over the hearts in the tree. You might not see it in the picture, but it gives a nice subtle shimmer.
Tools: Scallop border was done with SU Scallop Edge punch, the image was cut with Nestabilities straight and scallop ovals). I used Fiskar Corner rounder for the square mat and the corners of the card. The card base is embossed with Sizzix impression plate.

Another Mothers' Day card and CPS#63 challenge
I needed to do a Mothers' day card for my friend Josée - I owed it to her from our last SU Club meeting swap. I also wanted to do something for the CPS63 (Card positioning system), so I combined both ...

From the sketch and the exemples, I presumed that the card was a tri-fold, at least that is what I did.
So here is my card opened:
