It was my daughter Julie's birthday on Saturday. We celebrated by spending a girls' day at the SPA.... Massage, pedicure, manicure, a great feeling!
We went out to dinner to celebrate and had a great time....
Here is my Julie with her birthday cake... (her godson Graham is beside her... he shares the birthday with her also (next day I think)....
Here is the card that I made for Julie:
I don't know why the photo is fuzzy.... Oh well I don't have the card anymore, so this photo will have to do.
Here is a closeup of the "girl" (an image by Inky Antics). Julie is loosing weight and I wanted to make a card that would show how proud we are of the new thin her. I paper pieced the dress, the jacket and the hat and then shaded them with Copics.
Everything else is colored with copics. I used Basic Grey "Green at Heart" mini paper pad. Love those colours. The green under the image was embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder, then sanded. The card base was stamped with Hero Arts "Dots and Flowers" background stamp and the greeting is also by Hero Arts. The brad is velours by Making Memories. The lovery flowers are Prima. All the white was distressed with Tim Holtz Distress ink (shabby shutters).
And here is another photo that was taken at dinner: My two beautiful kids...
I am a very proud Maman!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Merci de votre visite.
